Bono makes the greatest songs for space explorers. The International Space program is the most important peak ever climbed by Humans.It's a fact of life that not everyday can be the best. This past year and especiaally this week we witnessed the ultimate trouble shooters successfully overcoming challenges, and we thank you here on Earth. This video is from Superwife@work. Sophia my 5 year old's first videography assignment. I am very proud of her and although the camera was awkward, she handled well. There's more for me to talk about regarding editing suites for the beginner. later, for now I just want to share this. it took long enough to get around to doing. The Scrubbed Night Launch for discovery is an example of, Some days are Better Than Others.

As a collective for the performing rights of our members - the creators and publishers of music - we make sure they get paid for the public performance and communication to the public of their music. We do that by collecting licence fees, as set by the Copyright Board of Canada, from anyone playing or broadcasting live or recorded music.

We also pay royalties to members of our affiliated international Performing Rights Organizations (PROs) for the public performances in Canada of their copyright-protected works. Similarly, we pay royalties to Canadian music creators and publishers when their music is performed in other countries, by virtue of reciprocal agreements with these PROs. Because of these agreements, our repertoire includes musical works written by their members as well as our own.

Copyright owners still have to protect their own copyright, but the advantage of joining SOCAN is that we collect licence fees from thousands of venues that play music, a task that would be difficult and time-consuming for copyright owners to do on their own.

We make the process simple and efficient for our customers, too. We administer performing rights in a simple way so that everyone who authorizes, or wants to play or broadcast music - broadcasters, promoters, venue operators, and others - can obtain the right quickly and easily.

As a Songwriter and Entertainer in Canada I was not prepared to discover the long and winding road to getting a song registered. The above mandate as extracted from the Socan page sounds good.however it actually is impossible to get registered . I have tried for 5 years and have given up. I think a new modern organization that will meet the needs of the professional song writer is due.

So that is why there isn't a real canadian Music Industry yet.

One piece called Unsung heros is still yet to officially titled. I wish to honor those who endured and those who suffered and those who we lost and those who won in the name of peace and for all humanity. All the nations can feel as one one this. Pride and Honor and truth resides in our DNA. It is within our nature to survive and to perservere when it seems most bleek. We know of good men and women , then and now, who's deeds all tolled have forged our future, securing our generation's freedoms and priveledges allowing us to pursue a rewarding and satisfying life on Earth. It is with sincerity and wisdom that I offer my compositions to the world to enjoy and listen. It is with dedication and free will that I grant copyrights to my music and compositions to be the domain of 'The Dominion of Canada' and 'The Common Wealth', to benefit the 'advent and progrss' of music and the arts. Sheet music may in the future be published bearing my name and performed by any individual royalty free. However, any money made from my origianl compositions would honorably be donated to 'The Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada' to provide the highest quality musical instruments and expert instruction as an introduction and suppliment for all ages and Nationalities of Canadians seeking the discipline of music.

The music industry has changed so drastically in the past few years that it is no longer a feasible way in itself to make a living. there is nonway to know, if my music is being used else where, or if i will receive royalties or credits to my original works. internet has made it impossible for independent musicians and producers to compete with the bands that are backed by companies.

It is more important for music to be heard than bought and sold. I decided that, my music and efforts could be shared as long as my name and credits are secured and respected. It isn't right for anyone else to make money from my music but me. So it is not for sale and basically free to listen to.

I love to make recordings without thinking that there is a demand or a price on it. I feel more comfortable as well, sharing my music with the world, as it comes to me. I believe that the gifts we are born with shouldn't be controlled or driven by business.

There are more musicians and kids getting a chance to explore the stage and shows like American idol have made it possible for an otherwise unknown talent to be discovered. Doing it for fame or fortune takes the sincerity out of music.

I recommend that everybody relook at what has happened to art, music, love, everything that is valuable is free .

Music is supposed to be heard. That is the greatest thing about the internet!

This version is in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's visit to the White House.

Tomorrow Her Majesty will attend the Kentucky Derby and all The World is wondering

'What color Hat will be chosen'.

What a fantastic weekend for Virginia.

Unsung Heros

The music you hear on this page was composed only a day or two before this tragic event.

Originally titled 'Unsung Cowboy' it was in dedication to those brave ones who fought for the land out of soldier's uniform. For God, for family, for nature. John Wayne's Movie Rio Bravo I saw recently and I was inspired to compose something that reflected how I feel about my Movie heros.

It seems appropriate for this occassion to rededicate this piece to 'Those we Have Lost'

then and now and forever.
